Adamdale Farms is located in Columbia, Mississippi which is approximately 90 miles northeast of New Orleans. We started in the Simmental business in 1989 when we purchased 3 cows from John Hewes when Simmentals were tall, red with lots of spots and now, like most breeders, have transitioned to moderate frame, solid black and red cattle with a few coveted blaze faces.
We are a family farm who enjoy our cattle and where our two daughters grew up showing cattle in local, state and national venues. Our breeding program has primarily used artificial inseminated Simmental bulls throughout the breed paying particular attention to EDPS and as of late started using Angus sires to meet market demands.
Our market throughout the years have been bulls thus saving and sorting through our heifers to grow our herd which has gotten too big for “Pawpaw and Nonnie” to handle. Both girls are still involved in the farm but with families and responsibilities of their own we have decided to start marketing our females and our 25+ years of genetics.
We would like to thank you for visiting our web site and invite you to visit our farm.
